Web Town Web Town was the second competition to ever have both a VE and NVE side to their competition. Founded: February, 2005 Founded by: Diana Hobby Opening Date: April 18, 2005 Reason Opened: WebTown was started so that Diana could create all the things she wanted to. Even though she enjoyed her time at the other competitions that she worked at (Wizards Quest and the Rumbles) she really wanted to have a competition run the way she would love to compete and have all her own graphics and websets. VE or NVE: Vote Exchange & No Vote Exchange Slogan: None Original Ideas: Unknown History: WebTown It is based on 4 communities (Towns) that each have their own Mayor. All the teams are named after towns in Western Australia. Towards the end of 2006, Web Town changed to having only three teams, choosing to close down their team called 'Hamel'.
