He originally wanted the comp to be called the "Best of the Oldies" but apparently was told that he couldn't use that name. He eventually decided on Oldie-Goldies.com. Oldie Goldies was originally opened as a summer comp only in 2007, but it took off, so he decided to keep it open for the rest of the year as well.
