Heart N Soul Founded: August, 2004 Founded by: Lady Aurora Opening Date: September, 2004 Reason Opened: Lady Aurora and a few others left the Golden Elite competition and decided to start up their own. VE or NVE: Vote Exchange Slogan: Where your heart meets your soul Original Ideas: The first to start up a seperate summer comp for those sites that still wanted to compete - as since about 2003-2004 most comps started shutting down for a month or two during the summer. They were also the first to offer a selection of prizes to winners based on which place that winner took - the winner is then eligible to choose one prize from the list. Finally, they allowed sites to 'buy votes' by using spirit points to be able to compete more effectively with sites that vote exchange a lot. History: Heart N Soul was opened when several members of the Golden Elite competition left the competition and decided to make their own.These members were: Lady Aurora, Lady Banshee, Lady Dee and Lady Amethyst. These four members then invited Lady Moon, Lady Anasthasia and Lady Tianna to join them. The Competition began in August, 2004 and was very well received. The competition is still going strong and Lady Aurora is thankful to her staff who helped make it all possible. In July of 2006 Lady Aurora announced that Heart N Soul would be closing down as herself and a lot of her staff members were becoming busy with other aspects of their life, and didn't want the competition to go downhill while they were busy with other things - they thought it was best to end the competition on a good note. The main competition shut down in June of 2006 for the summer, however their summer competition is still running throughout July and August. Lady Aurora announced in January, 2007 that the Heart N Soul competition would be re-opening. HNS actively started competition again on February 19, 2007. Heart N Soul was shut down again in July 2008 due to the owner being busy with her website design business. Still Running?: No, Heart N Soul is no longer running.
